First, our team will determine if IPL treatment is the best option for you. We then use a handheld device to deliver light therapy. IPL treatments are quick and efficient, and the length and number of sessions needed will depend on your individual needs.Immediately following the procedure, the treated area may look red or pink, and that can last between 4 to 8 hours. Sessions typically take about 30 minutes to an hour and your eye doctor will also discuss your recovery plan and what you need to know following the procedure.
